New blog about courts in Wichita
At least new to me. Here is a link to What the Judge Ate for Breakfast, a blog by Ron Sylvester, the court beat reporter for the Wichita Eagle. He has several interesting entries on stories happening in Wichita courts. Sylvester has always seemed to be a pretty even-handed reporter, so I will be checking his blog often!

Thanks for the mention, Randall. It is new, just recently put "live" although I spent several months developing it and trying to get into the groove of blogging. I'm hoping to use it to expand courts coverage beyond the high profile cases to show more of what goes on day-to-day in the courts, along with some of the more interesting and unusual cases that may or may not make the print edition. Thanks for checking it out
Being an ex-Wichita public defender (short term), I am of course always interested in the day-to-day drama in Sedgwick County (maybe more so than the average reader). I always wish that I had kept an accurate diary of my time there. You just can't write that stuff.
Oh the joy of working in Sedgwick county.
