Here is the Governor's press release announcing that her informal Court of Appeals nominating commission forwarded the following three persons to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge McAnany: Steve Obermeier, an Assistant Solicitor General with the Kansas Attorney General's Office, Sarah Warner, a Lenexa attorney, and Marcia Wood, a Wichita attorney.
The Governor will choose one of these persons to appoint and forward to the Kansas Senate for confirmation.
