McCarville wins district judge post in Hutch

The Hutch News reported that Magistrate Judge Joe McCarville beat Chief Public Defender Sarah Sweet-McKinnon for the district judge seat being vacated by Judge Becker. Today, the Hutch News reports that Ms. Sweet-McKinnon and Legal Services for Prisoners attorney Cheryl Allen have both expressed interest in McCarville's magistrate judge seat.
